Old floor given new life thanks to Gilt Edge Seamless Flooring System
Area: Approximately 300m2
Contractor: Contract flooring team with Project Manager Carlos Hedge.
Challenge: Existing floor area was an aged concrete floor that required levelling , and had high RH moisture issues. The old flooring was removed and a new carpet tile installation was required.
Solution: The existing subfloor was ground to a sound clean surface. UZIN PE 480 Primer 2-Part epoxy moisture barrier for substrates with high residual moisture content was trowel applied. The cured primed surface was primed with UZIN PE 280 rapid film smoothing primer for smooth non porous surfaces. The cured primer was coated with the rapid levelling system UZIN NC 170 Level Star rapid high strength levelling compound. The Carpet Tiles were glued to refurbished surface with Gilt Grip 66 pressure sensitive carpet tile adhesive.
Result: Yet another quality Gilt Edge seamless flooring system applied.
